David Brown

David has been a real estate broker at Northstar™ Resort since the early 70’s. One of the original five salesmen hired in 1971 to sell the resort’s first home sites and condominiums-- located in Beaver Pond, Silver Strike, Aspen Grove and the village--David eventually represented hundreds of buyers and sellers as the resort developed. In the 1980’s David opened his own office and was selected by Trimont Land Company in the 1990’s to be the Marketing Broker for Big Springs where he launched a very successful auction strategy. Today he knows many of the owners and much of the history of the Northstar™ Resort. Along with his wife, Linda, he has lived at Northstar™ Resort since 1973, now residing full time on Beaver Pond. David has represented property owners for over 15 years by serving on the Northstar Property Owners Association Board and has represented thousands of other owners in the past by serving on the Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors. Named Realtor of the Year in 1997, David has a long standing record of commitment to property owners.

Linda Brown

Linda joined David in real estate in 2005, having been a high school teacher in Truckee for many years. She’s having a great time in real estate because she enjoys meeting the people, helping sellers achieve their goals and buyers realize their dreams of a home in the mountains. She is known in the community as a founder of both the Excellence in Education Foundation and the Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation. In both organizations, she is a past Chairman of the Board and today serves as an advisor to both. In 2000 she was honored by the education foundation with the naming of the Linda Brown Fellows Award Program for her work in education and philanthropy, an award given annually to local teachers for their outstanding work with students.
